North Point Telecommunications-Emeryville, CA. Team Leader 02/03 to 04/04

Sent signal to lineman from across the country and utilizing 3 different programs to determine if the line’s integrity qualified for use by the EU. This included a team of 5 other techs, their scheduling, performance evaluations, hiring, and their escalation. At the same time I documented everything in our database manager Remedy while liaising with the client.

While working at our clients (Applied Materials) Santa Clara facility, I was promoted to Lead Technician at our Walnut Creek client’s (Air Touch Cellular) global headquarters. Trained in laptop repair. Compaq, Dell, H.P, I.B.M, and Toshiba. Also responsible for the scheduling of other technicians and assisted in hands on repair and upgrades. This consisted of the replacement of memory sticks, upgrading applications, and the replacement of peripherals.

Installed cable for individual dwellings. This sometimes required us to install from the telephone pole to the dwelling but mostly from the demarcation. Also required to explain the use of the remote utilizing a kind and courteous demeanor.

S.B.C.- San Francisco, CA. Internet Technical Consultant 10/96 to 04/98

Provided 90 member Help Desk Team Technical Support for over 100,000 EU base of both PC and Mac users. Trained to use a “drill down” technique in order to specify what their issues were. If issue couldn’t be resolved in a timely manner we would open an escalation ticket and forward the issue to our team leader for resolution.
